Terms of trading
Account Terms
New customers are required to pay in full at the time of the first order. Existing account holders may pay for each order at the time of ordering by credit card or within 14 days.
Note: Orders may not be dispatched when account exceeds 30 days.
Method of Payment
We accept cheque or money order mailed to PO BOX 6318 Alexandria 2015, (please do not mail to our street address). Clearly identify any payment with either your company name and or invoice number that you are paying. We also accept direct deposit and you may pay by credit card over the phone i.e. Bank card MasterCard and Visa at the time of ordering. A 2.5% surcharge may be added if credit cards are used to settle accounts that are regularly over 30 days in arrears.
All goods remain the property of Cathay Herbal until paid for.
Receiving Goods
Once signed for goods cannot be claimed as not sent or damaged. Please check all orders on receipt and notify us immediately.
Back Orders
As of September 2008, Cathay Herbal Laboratories only provides a Back Order Service (B.O.S) by request and this is not an automatic service.
Freight Policy
Practitioner's orders placed on a 14-day account, which are, Calculated by 5 different zones Australia wide with different subsidies for orders, under $200 (No Subsidy) and over $200 (Subsidised)
Practitioner's orders paid for at the time of ordering:
Calculated by 5 different zones Australia wide with different subsidies for orders, under $200 and over $200. Up to $20 off the freight cost if paid for at the time of ordering.
Over $350 is freight paid by CHL (Free freight) in all zones within Australia if paid for at the time of ordering.
Due to rising fuel prices and freight costs, freight charges are reviewed every 3 months; please check at the time of ordering. There is no longer a handling fee or minimum order.
All orders including overseas orders, please ask for a freight quote when ordering.
Goods Return
Should Cathay Herbal be responsible for a delivery error, you must notify us within 48 hours of the receipt of the goods. We will organise the goods to be collected by our own courier company, freight will not be if the customer returns the goods.
All other returns will not be accepted without prior arrangements with Cathay Herbal.
GST
All Price quoted within this catalogue are exclusive of GST. Orders from overseas are GST free.
Problems
Should you have any difficulties with our distributors or courier services please advise Cathay Herbal direct and we will do our best to sort it out.
TGA & GMP
All manufacturing and testing of herbal products are performed in compliance of Good Manufacturing Practice as prescribed by the TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration of Australia). We only sell products of the highest quality.
